What this website does not collect

RideCN has no registration, login, submission form, advertising tracker, marketing cookies or analytics scripts. Its application code does not request precise location, identity documents or payment information. There is no RideCN user database.

Local preferences

If you change language or theme, the site saves ridecn-language and ridecn-theme in your browser’s localStorage. They are not transmitted by our application. The preparation checklist is held only in the current page session and resets on reload. Clear browser site data to remove preferences. The guide works if local storage is blocked.

Hosting and technical data

This edition is prepared for GitHub Pages hosting. GitHub states that visitor IP addresses are logged and stored for security purposes, whether or not visitors are signed in. GitHub and its service providers process technical data under their policies. RideCN has no login system and cannot inspect or control retention or deletion of GitHub platform logs. If hosting changes, this notice must be updated.

External websites and your rights

Images and interface assets are served locally; visiting a source link contacts that external website under its own privacy rules. Depending on applicable law you may have access, correction, deletion or other data rights. Contact the relevant platform for its records. RideCN’s private contact channel is not yet configured; do not post personal information publicly. See Contact & Corrections for current options.

Before adding new features

We will update this policy before adding forms, analytics, accounts or other data collection. The policy review date is 15 October 2026. Read the platform privacy policy at docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement.

Plan carefully. Check current local laws, weather and road conditions before every ride. Read our disclaimer ↗
